Biography
Jordan was diagnosed with menkes disease when he was 22 months old. I noticed he wasnt doing the things he should be for his age from 4 months on. He wasnt able to roll over sit up or even use his hands to play with things. He wasnt focusing on anyone either. He is cortically visually impared. he started having seizures at 4 months old. He is developmentally about 3 to 4 months old. He cant talk or walk and is in a wheel chair, on a feeding tube, and oxygen as needed. Even though he can not talk or walk he is so the apple of our eye. He is a happy boy in his own way. his smile can light up the room. He is older than most kids live to be with menkes disease. He will be 14 this month. He has saved his baby brother who has the same disease he does. We didnt know I was a carrier with him but because of him we know i was with his brother zachary who is almost 2 years old and can talk and walk and will be fine thanks to his big brother jordan :
