Biography
Katelyn AkA KK, was born on April 25 2007 weighing 8lbs 14oz was a perfectly healthy child. On Feb 21 after months of fevers and upper respiratory infections including asthma flairs She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) High Risk due to the fact that her WBC was over 50,000.00 at diagnosis. She is currently in long term maintenance and has responded very well to all treatment. KK has Had 1 port placement, 18 lumbar punctures, 14 blood product transfusions, 64 hospital admissions, 80 IV chemo infusions not to mention the chemo she takes on pill form, over 64 pokes, 4 scans, has spent most of her time on social isolation, lost her hair, Yet She has remained happy and very active, has completed Pre-Kinder and Kinder Garten, She is officially a first grader, She dances Ballet and Jazz and has had 4 recitals,She is beyond brave and has an infectious smile! She is OUR HERO! Her end of treatment date is set for june 2014.When you sign up to stitch for Love Quilts you will get a confirmation of your sign up. If your pattern is a duplicate you will be asked to pick another pattern.

Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
