Biography
Jeriah was born 3/14/2007. He appeared to be a healthy baby boy. At
about 5 months of age his development became noticeably delayed and the seizures
started shortly after. Jeriah was admitted to the hospital twice before he was a
year old for "failure to thrive" and epilepsy. Our local hospital was unable to
figure out what was causing his condition. When Jeriah was a year old we took a
9 day trip to MAYO clinic in search of answers. They too were baffled by Jeriah
and unable to find answers. After years of searching and hundreds of
appointments we finally got some answers when Jeriah was 4 years old. He was
diagnosised with a Cobalamin Disease which basically means he doesn't process
vitamin B12 properly at the cellular level. He is currently in a research study
for this rare disease at the National Institute of Health in MD, There is no
cure for this disease and because it is a rather new discovery we don't know
what the long term prognosis will be.
Today Jeriah functions at the level of an infant and suffers from occasional
seizures but overall he is a happy kid. We are blessed to call him son!

Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
