Biography
Alex first got sick on 12/2/12 while taking our Christmas pictures. He stayed
sick with headaches and vomiting for a week before we came to Vanderbilt's
Children's Hospital. We went to the ER on 12/8/12. They quickly did a CT Scan
and spotted a tumor the size of a racquetball at the base of his brain. He went
to surgery I 12/11/12 to have Dr. John Wellons attempt to remove it. After 5
hours the surgery was complete and he was able to remove all of it! We found
that is was medulloblastoma.
This will require daily radiation (for 6 weeks) and weekly chemo (15 months)
starting 1/9/13.
We will go to have his port placed and a spinal tap done (to see if it has
spread to his spine) on 12/27/12. Just 2 days after Christmas.

Once there click on the link "database" on the right to view the children and their patterns. Once you find a pattern that you want to stitch and have confirmed it is not already being stitched you may return to the sign up form, fill it in and submit it.
